Carolina as Airborne.  Joined the AF in 1958 served in Mississippi, before going  to Japan. Japan 1958-59;  Vandenberg AFB, 1960 to 1966 ; Vietnam 1966;   Germany  1967-68; Vandenberg AFB, 1968 to 1969; Hawaii 1970-71;   Vandenberg AFB, CA 1972-76. Retired at Vandenberg AFB, April 30, 1976. MEDALS EARNED: Distinguished Flying Cross in 1966 for a mission that picked up the crew of a  Phantom F4 from the water in the Gulf of China. Air Medals for missions in VietNam, Outststanding Unit Award.
