Woodbury genealogy

Yep, John Woodbury it was, but 1624 not 1524. The settlement at Cape Ann did not work out, so John Woodbury sailed back to England and obtained a 200 acre grant from the King of England to land now located in what is called Beverly Massachusetts. When he crossed the Atlantic for the 3rd time he brought with him a new (2nd) wife, an already existing son, and his brother. Much history of Woodbury can be found in Beverly Historical Society ( which I am a member ). I have visited the oldest known resting place of the earliest Woodburys ( yes sometimes the gravestones say "Woodberry" ), but John Woodbury's final resting place is unknown.
The genealogical lines will not be lost unless your husband decides to lose them on purpose. I am raising my daughters in Massachusetts almost 385 years later. My oldest daughter's name is Julie. My brother lives nearby raising 3 children.
