Posted by Lyman T. Watson <Lwatson11942@bellsouth.net> on Sun, 12 Nov 2006

I am searching for any information on Emri C. Watson born 1827 in New Salem, Fairfield Co., OH. He enlisted in the U. S. Union Army in Anna, IL. May 28, 1861 at age 34. He was living in Shawneetown, Gallatin, Co., IL. and married.
He is buried in Stone Church Cemetery, Hardin, County, IL. It is believed he died around November 1862 while in the service. If anyone knows about he or his family, I would appreciate hearing from you at the above E-mail address.
