collop family

hi, i live in dallas texas and was born here in 1954. my father is from kirksville mo. peter kohlhepp is my great x ? grandfather. I understand he came to the english colonies back in 1750 aboard a ship called the edinburgh, i know there is a stone taven in marion va. which still stands built by one of his decendents, also i understand that a collop luthern church is in the marion va. area.
