Posted by Frederick Fitzgerald Tisdall <fft@attcanada.ca> on Wed, 22 Aug 2001, in response to Tisdall family tree/ research, posted by Chris Hamlin on Sat, 09 Jun 2001

Micheal Tisdall was sent to Ireland around 1592 by king James. We flurished there for 300 years as a ruling family. Around 1850 Some Tisdalls left and traveled to buffalo NY, Clinton Ontario and Austrailia. There are Tisdalls in Toronto,Grimsby and now Hamilton. Direct decendants from this Family. The most Famous Canadian Tisdall was Dr. Frederick F Tisdall Who invented Pablum baby food. An article in the toronto star, last year, refered to him as one of the unsung heroes of the last century.
