Stickler Family

Leonard Vitalis Stickler or Vitalis Leonard Stickler, was my Grandfather. We have had a very hard time finding any information on him before he married my grandmother, Lula May Thompson on October 19, 1897 in Malver, Hot Springs C., AR. They had three children, my father Velmar Edward born on July 21, 1901 and died on July 2, 1962, James Hugh on May 12, 1902, died on March 4, 1975, and Mattie Irene on September 20, 1905, we do not know if she is alive or dead, her first marriage was to Hugh Campbell. All of the stickler children were born around Malvern, Hot Springs Co., AR. On the census Leonard put down that he and his parents? were born in MO, but he had told my father that he had ran away from home, never told him who his parents were, only that the family came from Germany and originaly settled in Germantown, PA.
