I am looking for my grandmothers family history, her name was Ilah Alice Shields. She married a John Thomas(Harvey) Moore, I have some photoes, Lester and Nolia Shields picture who was kin to her I'm sure, They later moved to Grubbs Ark. in early 1900."s Please email me if anyone knows any of them or their ancestors. I would like to trace my mother's family in the Durham NC community. My grandfather's name Was Wiley Shields. His wife Mary had Wilburn, Alma, Sarah, Mary Louise, Minnie, Virginia, Kathrine and William. My mother Kathrine went to California durning the 2nd WW, and remained there for her life.
Anyone that has any information on Shields family members living in the Raleigh/Durham area. Please email me.
