SCLAFANI, GUIRRERI, DOLCEMASCOLO, AVONA, MARINO, PETRUSA

Hi, would love to hear from other people researching any of my surnames. To our knowledge, the only family that emmigrated to NY, New York besides the SCLAFANI's, were of course their spouses and some sibilings. Antonino GUIRRERI, Domenico PETRUSA,

AVONA, Florinda (my father's maternal grandmother, b. abt 1877, around Sciacca, Sicily. Married Antonino PETRUSA)

PETRUSA, Fanny (Eufemia)- my grandmother and
the daughter of Florinda AVONA and Antonino PETRUSA, baptised 22 DEC 1897.
Married Vincent SCLAFANI abt. 1916, most likely in New York City, NY. They had four sons: Accursio (present age: abt. 85yo.), Anthony (Antonino), Eddie (Francesco),
and Dominick (Domenico) Edward SCLAFANI, born 1 NOV 1926, Brooklyn, NY - died 25 OCT 1976, Brentwood, NY- My dad

DOLCEMASCOLO, Rosa (my father's paternal greatgrandmother, b. about 1840's, most likely in the region of Agrigento. Married to Vincenzo SCLAFANI, circa 1860's, near or in Sciacca. They had two known sons, Gaspare and Accursio - my great grandfather (b. 1864, Sciacca, sicily).

GUIRRERI, Providenza (my father's paternal grandmother, daughter of Francesco GUIRRERI & Catarina MARINO, b. 1869, Girgente, Sicily. Married to Accursio SCLAFANI circa late 1880's or early 1890's (they had my grandfather Vincenzo SCLAFANI in Mar of 1892). Providenza and Accursio emmigrated to NYC, New York on April 24, 1898, via the Trojan Prince, from Naples, Italy. Three of their children: Vincenzo, Francesco, and Gaspare Alfonso were born in Sciacca, and their other three (Accursio, Katie and Rose were born in New York. In 1898, Providenza, Accursio, and the boys stayed with Providenza's brother Antonino GUIRRERI at his residence 168 Elizabeth Street, Manhattan, NYC, NY.
