I am looking for anyone having information concerning the surname Pichichero.
The name come from the Southern part of Italy Bari.
They basically come from within the surrounding towns of;
Cassano delle murge, Acquaviva delle fonti, Sanacandro, Santeramo.
I am sure as alrealdy noted that many Pichichero could be found in Pisa, Rome, Florence Italy.

In the United States they can be found in New York, LongIsland, Ohio, California, Washington State, as well as in Canada, and Argentina.

After 8 years of researching the Pichichero surname I am happy to say that I have documented and placed the many Pichichero families found during this period into the PICHICHERO Family Ttree.
Lorenzo Pichichero my Great Great Great Grandfather born around 1785 has a descendant listing of over 400 Pichichero's.
Birth certificates, marriage certificates as well as Photo's have been documented to identify an assurance that families from the United States, Canada, Argentina, and Italy all form a heritage link decending from Lorenzo and Angela Gravinese.
Researching has always produced Pichichero names that were not immediately placed into the lineage of families already established.
It is with this hope that additional knowledge could be made from individuals reading this message in hopes that they can and will be able to shed more information and photos that will continue to add many more names to our Family Trtee.
If anyone would be intrested in sharing some important history with me it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Patrick ....this is Mike from Victoria, BC Canada, this text box is not very responsive. so I won't type a long message. We spoke several times years ago and i corresponded with you a few times as well. Your efforts are appreciated by me and I am sure other Pichichero descendants. I got your weblink from my nephew, ---kevin keski-hynilla. His Mother Rosa is my sister and his father is Jouko ( born in Finland). I am going to Italy with my mum in June this year.

My mother is Rosa Pichichero (daughter of Lorenzo Pichichero), from Greater Vancouver area. Her family is from Sanicandro di Bari.
