John PACKER

John PACKER, son of Simeon PECHER received a land warrant in Adams Co, PA abt 1785. Would appreciate any info on John or his father. Simeon died 1784 in York (now Adams ) Co and but cannot determine whence he came or if he had siblings. He was from Germany, a Catholic. His wife Elizabeth was Protestant. Name is varied Pecher, Becher, Packer, Bekkar and more on soundex. Thank you.
