My mother told me that when my brother (he's 4 yrs older) was in the hospital, before I was conceived that she named me after a little girl she'd come to know in the hospital as well. My mother said she was a sweet little girl who's father abused her and that's why she was in the hospital. So my mother said to her, "If I ever have a little girl. Im going to name her after you." Hence..my name. My mother said between the little girl and Shikinah Glory...she named me Shekenna.
