Bulik is a Ukrainian name.
Now, I don't know which generation it might be, that came to Slovakia and settled down there a long time ago. But, it could date well before the 1900. My parents were born in a small village near Stara Lubovna called Jarabina (where they still speak the ukrainian dialect). My parents then got married and moved to a city called Presov. I was born there :). There are still plenty Bulik's around somewhere there, and now here in the USA, I see. :)I do not know any Katarina and Josef Bulik. :(

I was told that my paternal grandparents, Mary & Joseph Bulik were Slovack - at the time part of Czech. Through research I found Bulik families were located in the southern part of Czech and northern Hungary. My best guess/limited educated guess that my grandparents came from a small town in northern Hungary. Anyone else who has info, please forward to me - thanks!Ken
