Reliford origin

I research my family history also. I have information on my family going back six generations to the slavery time period.

My great great great grandfather was Primus Rutherford. He was half white and half black a mulatto. He took name from the white slave owners Rutherford when they came out of slavery here in East Texas. I also know of the Relifords' in Western Louisiana because we are so in location.
