Gilliam

I am a Gilliam and most of my family is from the Michigan area. Now just for background information, I am white. I however, have run into a lot of black Gilliam's. I have been told from time to time that the Gilliam line comes from three areas, Scotland, Ireland and England. Now this has not been actually traced that far back but I would love to know where we come from. For all I know one of my great great great grand parents took it of the side of a moving truck. I hope that this helped somewhat.
