Scothorn & Worth of Oxton

Dear Scothorns,

I am trying to trace my family's history in England. My Great-Great... Grandfather was Robert Worth and I note that he, along with Robert Scothorn, were members of the same church. I am wondering if any Scothorn's have any more history of Oxton in the mid-1600's that I might use to get a better sense of the area, and to use to trace my lineage back further.
