tracing heritage

My grandmother, who was 1/2 Cherokee died long before I was born, and my mother while I was a young adult. I never learned about my Cherokee heritage. I would like to know more about my heritage. My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Edith Marie Stafford. She was born 8-3-1904 at Clarksville, Arkansas. If she is on the roll, or if there is anyone who knows of this family lineage, would you please contact me. Thank you. Judy Fonville Ferguson
