Bulik from Slovakia

Posted by Lana <lanapresov@hotmail.com> on Thu, 08 Nov 2007, in response to BULIK CONNECTION, posted by MARI JO BEBIAK on Tue, 04 Jul 2006

Bulik is a Ukrainian name.
Now, I don't know which generation it might be, that came to Slovakia and settled down there a long time ago. But, it could date well before the 1900. My parents were born in a small village near Stara Lubovna called Jarabina (where they still speak the ukrainian dialect). My parents then got married and moved to a city called Presov. I was born there :). There are still plenty Bulik's around somewhere there, and now here in the USA, I see. :)

I do not know any Katarina and Josef Bulik. :(
