I WAS LED TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS OF SCOTTISH DECENT RATHER THAN OF IRISH. IN FACT I HAVE A FRIEND I KNEW IN SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA WITH THE NAME CHERYL HICKS, SISTERS ALOMA AND GAIL AND A BROTHER CERIL WHOM I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE FOR AWHILE NOW. GOOD LUCK.
