BARTON and LOVELACE

Posted by Warren Wetmore <wwetmore@yahoo.com> on Sat, 01 Jan 2005, in response to What nationallity am I, posted by Susannah on Wed, 28 Jan 2004

Both are English. LOVELACE = LOVELESS

BARTON appears in the name of MANY towns: plain Barton (in many different counties), Earls Barton, Court Barton, Great Barton, Barton-le-Clay, Westcott Barton, Steeple Barton, Abbots Barton, Barton Regis, Barton-upon-Humber, Barton-on-Sea, Barton Stacey, Barton-under-Needwood, Barne Barton, Barton-on-Avon, Barton Mills, Barton Hartshorn, Barton Bendish, Barton Blount, High Barton, Barton-in-Fabis, Barton le Street, Barton le Willows, Barton Moss, Barton-on-the-Heath, Barton Turf, Barton St. David, Barton-upon-Irwell, Barton Seagrave and probably some others.

You think I'm kidding?
