Eutsey

Posted by Lisa Covi <lmcovi@earthlink.net> on Wed, 25 Feb 2004, in response to EUTSEY?, posted by LINDA EUTSEY on Mon, 15 Sep 2003

If you are caucasian and your family goes back to Pennsylvania, you might be part of the family that emigrated from the Palatinate, a part of Germany in the 1700s. The various spellings of this family include:

Jutzi, Jutzy, Utzi, Utzy, Yutzie, Yutzy, Yutzie, Yeutsy, Eutsey,

There are two cemeteries in Fayette County, Pennsylvania with ancestors of this family. There was a family farm near these cemeteries, but I'm uncertain if it is still in the family.
