Dog Tags

Last night I returned from a business trip to Vietnam. While there, I happened on a street vendor who sold dog tags. While I was revolted at the sight, I was also very touched by running my hand over them. I bought several and would like to return them to the vets families -- that is if they are legitimate.

What's the best way to locate Vietnam vets information? Just have names and serial numbers from the dog tags.
