looking for husbands family

I am looking for my husband Thomas Scott Schaefers' family in California. Tom was born May 17, 1965 in Los Angeles, California. His biological father is named Howard Joseph Schaefer, and goes by the name Sonny. His parents whom are both decesed are Elmer and Katherine Schaefer. I know that Sonny is in California, but have not been able to locate him since Elmer passed away. Tom has siblings from his dad that he has never met and would love to do so. Tom has brothers named Howard and David, and one sister named Jeannie all born to Shirley Hunley (maiden name) and Sonny. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
