Mories-Gardener?

My maiden name is Mories. My father was Oren Lee Mories, born in the early 1900's (I think it was 1903) August 20th. His mother was Cordelia, maiden name Gardner or Gardener. She married a man whose name was Moore after my grandfather died.

I have no good information about my father's family. I believe my grandfather came from France.

I was told my maternal grandfather was a U.S. Marshall in the South- Oklahoma and West.

If anyone has any information about any of these people, or even just an idea of some possible information about either of these families, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, deb
