Hi, My mothers side of our family come from Italy. Her Maiden name is Miglietta and her father come here along time ago. Do not know much about him. I was I think around 5 years old when he passed. When our mother passed we found a certificate with our grandfathers name on it. We never knew what it said it was in Italian. My daughter was doing a school project so we drove down to see my sister to get copies of what she had. Pictures and old post cards. It just so happened that her neighbor was out side and spoke and read in Italian. We found out that it was from the Itailan Military honoring him in high regards. Do you know what the name of family members you have in the state? Please E-Mail me back. Very interested.
