george henry mills' parents

i am having difficulty in years prior to the 1860 census. george henry was born in enterprise, alabama in 1847. he was married to carrie virginia mason who was born in 1850. they had six boys: clarence eugene, thomas mason, claude alexander, ramsey moman, george ealy, and fred edwards.it is believed that george henry's father's name was robert, born in 1803 in either n. carolina, s. carolina or georgia. his mother is believed to be mary , born in 1809 in georgia.thanks. hope someone can add some insite.
