We are a family of McDine's in Ky. My father is Clifford McDine and his father was Ralph McDine. They claim we originated from Ireland. I have 2 brothers and no sisters. My brother Dennis (Elsmere KY) has a daughter Devin McDine (Cincinnati Ohio) and a son Derrick McDine (Cincinnati Ohio), my brother Jeff (Burlington Ky) has 4 boys Craig (Covington Ky), Chad (Burlington Ky), Cory (Burlington Ky) and Carter McDine (Burlington Ky), and I, Steve (Union Ky)have a daughter, Stephanie and a son Steven (both Union Ky). I also have a distant cousin who lives in Union Ky his name is Keith and he has 2 daughters Heather McDine and Tonya McDine. So there are a few of us here in this area. At least 19 of us right here. I don't think any of us have freckles, dimples, but not freckles. By the way my wife is typing this up for me, I'm not as good on the computer as she is. My mom is 82 yrs old and my dad is 84 yrs old, I myself am the youngest son and I am 44 yrs old. It's pretty cool to talk with all these McDine's from around the world. Good day to all of you!

We are also McDines but were in the Pittsburgh area. Have also noticed McDines in New York. Grandfather came over to America near the turn of the century. Grandfathers may have been cousins(???)

hello, im called Heather McDine im 16 year old and i live in newcastle upon tyne north east of england. my family claim to originate from ireland as well. I get the name McDine from my mothers side and she is called Marion McDine. it would be nice to get in touch with you again so we can follow this up and see if we are related in any way possible.

I am the wife of Jeff McDine, brother of Steve who posted a couple of years ago. I have a correction to what was posted earlier. I believe Floyd was Jeff's grandfather and Noah his great grandfather.I was in Ireland last year and asked around about the McDine name. No one I asked had heard of McDines. I don't believe that means they are not from Ireland, though. It just doesn't seem to be a very common name. I know it is uncommon in this area. The only McDines we know of are his known relatives.

I forgot to mention a coupld of details. Noah McDine was born April 23, 1969 in West Union, OH. Floyd Henry McDine was born Jan 26, 1897 also in West Union, OH.
