Hi.
My grandfather was John McGeown and was from Lurgan, Northan Ireland. My mother's name is Patricia Bridget Mc'Geown, her brothers names were Kevin and Sean and her sisters names were Ita and Eilish (think thats how it is spelt). He lived in East London since before the second world war and died there in 1976. Hope this is of some help and that just maybe you are a relation that I never knew about.
