hello
my martin family are from ohio athens,lawrence county. my grandfather is harrison van jas martin he married ruth bowen they had 14 children. Her father is john bowen and mother is ella taylor. . harrisons father is lawson van jas martin his father is van buren martin married amanda gates they had 16 children and 9 survied. van buren martin father is john martin birth abt 1832? john martin was married to suesan daily and surepra gates.

  I am not sure if I am related to Elmer Gates. all I have for info is my ggrandmother was amanda mae gates she was married to my grandfather father van buren martin they had 16 children only 9 survied amanda gates lived on the river banks of ohio. amanda father is abel gates I believe they were from athens lawrence county Ohio.
