If you are looking for the Leffingwells from Connecticut, I have a bit of information. I don't know if anyone can go back further than Thomas' father, William, from Great Bentley, England. I have photos of the headstones of Capt. John Leffingwell buried in Norwich, CT. Also of Mary (Leffingwell) Bushnell. Both are descendants of Thomas. If these are your Leffingwells, I will be happy to share what I know. There is more information on them out there.

My mother and I have been researching our family tree on Dads side of the family, His father is Harold Leffingwell and they lived in New York. We are also related to robert Leffingwell the comic writer of Little Joe and Harold Gray, who wrote Little Orphan Annie. We are descendents of Thomas Leffingwell from croxhall England. Does anybody know anything past him, or anything about him?
