A chain of lemonius's

Hi Karla,

Here is a family-chain of Lemonius' that might link up with your own somewhere. The research was done the German part of the family.

I am the first son of Mogens Lemonius who, like me live in Denmark.

My grandfarther was Boris Johann Wilhelm von Lemonius (born 26/2/1911). He was born in St Petersburg, but fled in 1918 with the family to Haspal in Litau. In 1919 the Russians invaded the country. His nanny had been Danish and he decided to go Denmark. He married Danish, had 2 boys and 1 girl. The oldest boy is my farther.
The rest of my grandfarthers family (farther, mother and two sisters) fled to a family house in Reval in Germany) The family apparently had a link to Germany.
The oldest of my Grandfarthers sister died young. The youngest married a German and changed family name.

My Great Grandfarthers name was Johan Robert Wilhelm von Lemonius. He was Headmaster of a Gymnaisium (highschool) in Skt Petersburg before the family fled the country. He was born the 23/10/1870 in Skt Peterburg.

His farther's was Johann Wilhelm von Lemonius. He was born 26/8/1817 in Skt Peterburg and was the farther of 6 children. I do not know the name and sex of the other 5 - but considering that my great grandfarther decided to bring his family to Germany, he might have had a sister or brother already in Germany.

Anyway, his farthers name was Johann Christian von Lemonius. He was born 4/10/1785. In 1845 he was promoted Tax minister to Zar Nicolai I - and thus the reason that the family needed to get out when the revolution started.
He had 3 children

His farther was Johann Jacob Jürgen Lemonius. He was born in 1755 in Litau and died in 1835 in Pernau. He had 5 children and was the youngest of 3 children.
