Kubale surname from Germany

My maternal grandmother was named Marguerite Kubale. Her father came from Germany in the early 1900's. Started in Ft. Smith, Ark, and later went to Little Rock. We have her grandfather Kubale's papers from his service in the German army in late 1800's-will have to get exact dates. His name was Staislaw; My great aunt's names were Esta and Wanda, and their brother was Edwin. Hope this is useful.
