I read with interest your response to Cindy Weaver about your mother, Maureen Doherty of Lurga. What is her brother's name who still lives in the family home? Do you know exactly where the family home is? My O'Doherty cousins still live in our family home in Lurga - "Shamrock House" on the east side of the N17 next to the Padraig Kenney family home (also cousins).

his name is tom 'den' doherty. he still lives in the family home. his house is on the n17 but is not known as 'shamrock house' as far as i know. i can check that though. i am living in charlestown myself now.
