does anyone know the city in Oklahoma where I can get copies of my Fathers cdib cards . I had them at one point , but since he has passed on , my step mother won't give me any of the info, so that I can obtain my own cdib card . Thankyou for your time and help.

I have been trying to get my cdib card for sometime. My father has one and my big sister as well as her oldest son.My sister went to get my niece's CDIB and they told her they needed a certified birth certificate of my fathers first. If my sister and my nephew already have one, what is the problem? And could you help me to find out what I need to do to get my CDIB?

Hi, I just stumbled upon this site. It's been a while since your request, but if you haven't found out by now ...
You would need to contact the main tribal office of whatever "tribe" you are. For example, I am Seminole, so I would go to the Seminole Affairs office in Wewoka, Oklahoma. You can do a google search with your tribe name, example: Seminole Affairs Oklahoma, and it should produce some contact numbers and locations for you.
