does anyone know the city in Oklahoma where I can get copies of my Fathers cdib cards . I had them at one point , but since he has passed on , my step mother won't give me any of the info, so that I can obtain my own cdib card . Thankyou for your time and help.

I have been trying to get my cdib card for sometime.My father has one and my big sister as well as her oldest son.My sister went to get my niece's CDIB and they told her they needed a certified birth certificate of my fathers first.If my sister and my nephew already have one,what is the problem?And could you help me to find out what I need to do to get my CDIB?

Hi, I just stumbled upon this site. It's been a while since your request, but if you haven't found out by now ...
You would need to contact the main tribal office of whatever "tribe" you are. For example, I am Seminole, so I would go to the Seminole Affairs office in Wewoka, Oklahoma. You can do a google search with your tribe name, example: Seminole Affairs Oklahoma, and it should produce some contact numbers and locations for you.

Hi my name is Lori I have been working for many years along with my mother on our family history up until my mother recently passed away we were very close she told me everything she knew and I have looked up alot of stuff as well as started to build our family tree I am running into dead spots "which Im sure we all do at some point" I was told we have indian ancestors Osage tribe I have 4 names to go by but have found nothing on them one is louisa Brown one is Joseph truelove Scobee, Eva ruth Scobee and the last one is Maud or Maude Schroyer Im in hopes I can find thir names on a roll if you can help I would greatly apperciate it Thanks much Lori

I am trying to find my mothers family history. Her father was William F. Oliver and his Osage roll number in 10633. Is there any information on his brothers and sisters somewhere. My mothers birthrecords were lost in a fire in the court house years ago and this is the only number I have. She was married to H.A. Teague Cherokee roll # 6438, grandfater Benj. Teague roll 6437 and his mother Mary J. Teague roll number 6433. We need to find our Osage family tree please.

Both sides of my family has role numbers but they will not let that information out to the existing family members. I need to locate my number. The furthest I got in my family tree on my father's side is my great-great grandfather Dan Gilyard and wife Lillie. And the furthest I got on my mothers side, (Brown/Shine),is a man named Nathan from Mississippi that married a lady named Charlotte in 1866 which is the grandparents of my great grandfather Clyde Brown. And Glover Spencer that married Jennie Bassett that are the grandparents of my grandmother Helen Shine Brown.

Hi-I am trying to find my Indian role number. My father's name was John Mitchel Calder; my grandmother's name was Essie Bell Dola Calder and she resided in Mesquite Texas for most of her lifetime. My sister and I are adopted,within the family, the only thing we were ever told about our mother was that she was 1/2 indian Apache, we dont know if any of this is true, but it's the only thing we had to hold on to, about our mother. Her name is Virginia Lee Neaville, her mothers name was Helen Lee Rose, we were told our Grandfather John H. Melvin married her right off the reservation.Other family members said they met her mother and she was difinitly indian. Thankyou for any help.

Somewhere going back on my dad's side of the family starting with my grandma, and her name is Wesley Ann Anglin her maiden name is Well.I have Cherokee Indian in me but I would like to know how much if possible? Did anyone Register back then? How do I find out if I can get benifits, and what would be my roll number? but my granma wont tell me who, and my dad he thinks he would have enough to register and all that but me and my sister wouldn't?

Hi I have not been able to find the roll number for my VCherrokee Indian great greatgranfather but have found census records that prove he was there beore the dates and after the required dates. I am not sure how to find it. If anyone knows where to go or who to contact please let me know thanks.

I would also like to find my role number. And all I have is my grandmothers name, which is Ollie Ann Byler. Her sister Pam, did some work and actually found out we are slightly cherokee, and we didnt even know, because what we are looking for is the Osage. Their mom was full blooded indian, more-so Osage. Guess I would have to find her birth certificate, but I dont know how to do that because they need to much information. I dont know where to start with any of this, maybe Im just stuck!

Hi my is Shanna, I have been looking in to our ancestors and my grandfather and great grandfather were both named Joseph Truelove Scobee, and my great great grandmother was Louisa Brown The Scobee side is from Scotland,I have traced them back to 1720, but my great grandmothers name is Charlotte Electra Brooks and was married to Joseph Truelove Scobee, the indian part of our ancestory comes from the Brooks side hope this is helpful, I know that my grandfather was born in Noble county, Oklahoma in 1910 and he was born on a reservation but I have been having trouble tracking down much information other then that. Hope any of this has been helpful

My grandmother and my dad(whom is deceased) both had indian roll numbers. They have been lost somewhere. I also believe I am eligible to get one too. Can anyone help me?
