HISTORY OF NEMBHARDS

Posted by Michael Anthony Nembhard <michaelnembard@hotmail.com> on Sun, 21 Oct 2007, in response to Nembhard of Jamaica, posted by Elaine Nembhard on Sat, 06 Jan 2007

Trying to put together the history of Nembhards of Jamaica, my grandfather was named Amoss(skiffol)Nembhard he came from Duffcot and was married to Sarah Anderson who came from Clarendon(andrew hill). They had 9 children: GLEN, IVY, LAMBERT, JESSIE, DOREEN, ELISA, JOY, BEATRICE,and CARMEN. GLEN died some years ago but had 3 sons; Ivy also died sometime ago and she also had 1 son. Jessie lives in England she has 1 son. Joy,Lambert and Beatrice still live in Jamaica. Joy has 1 son named George; Beatrice had 1 son named Andrew who died in America.
Lambert i'm not sure how many children he has, but Carmen has 3 children and they all live in america (chicago).Elisa has several children and they all live in England. An uncle of mine was living in Fort George in Kellets his name was John; and ran a farm up there. Some family still live in spanishtown near Kingston, also on waltham park road; Aligator pond (black river) there we have relatives both Nembhards and McDonalds. Any infomation would help as i'm just getting started.
