Ryan's from Kilkenny

Hi Kevin,

I'm not sure if this will help you on your search, but my great grandmother was Bridget Ryan b. 1836 (circa)from the Kilkenny area, I believe. In the 1880 census it shows a Robert Ryan (as a boarder)age 6 yrs. born in NJ(I think this was her newphew, both his parents were born in Ireland). I am still trying to find information on this side of the family. But there is a site called oldmillhillsociety.org (located out of Trenton, NJ that has Ryans from Ireland on it. Good luck
