Patrick McTigue

Posted by Kathy Amoroso <KATHYA@MAINE.RR.COM> on Sun, 22 Feb 2009, in response to Mike McTigue, posted by Peter Gill on Sun, 23 Dec 2007

I am trying to find the origins of Patrick McTigue who came from Ireland around 1848 and settled in Far Rockaway, Long Island. In 1870 and 1880 he is listed with a brother Richard and another brother James.

Patrick married Catherine Mullane and had children: Elizabeth, Mary A., Julia, and Andrew.

I found a death record of a Richard McTigue from Far Rockaway in 1901, parents were listed as Andrew and Mary McTigue. Do these fit into any information you have?

From census records from Far Rockaway it looks like:

Patrick McTigue b. c 1816
James b. c. 1820
Richard b. c 1824

Thanks.
