Hey Ken: I am in touch with another Ken Briggs in UK. I am out here in the San Fran Bay Area. I am trying to track down my Dad's kin. He was Darwin Martin Briggs, born in Sacramento in 1919. His Dad, Norman E. Briggs, is a total enigma - I can find nothing about him but a few suggestions about origins in the deep south. He is listed in the US Census as being in San Fran in 1920 and with family inthe same place in 1930. Yet, nothing of my admitidly dysfunctional family on my father's side ever hinted origins in the South.

I'm looking down the long tunnel toward retirement with a recently re-named "101K account" (because of the losses). Hope you are doing better!
