origen apellido Véjar

Hola a todos... soy de Chile, aca el apellido lo encuentran en la zona sur del pais y segun lo que he investigado la mayoria ha salido de una zona en particular (region del BioBio), mas no se de adonde llegaron alli. Seguro que de Espańa, aunque debe ser hace poco mas de un siglo nomas pues la pacificacion de la Araucania (zona en cuestion) duro 400 ańos +o- jeje. en fin, se me ocurre que la version de los arabes es mas creible, pues la fonetica tiende a ser parecida a la arabe, polaco no me suena por ningun lado. Hace un tiempo vi un escudo que decia ser Vejar, era super basico tenia un sol en el centro, nada que ver con los escudos de familias espańolas tradicionales, que tengan suerte en la busqueda.
