I've hit a brick wall when it comes to my Hunter ancestors, any help would be greatly appreciated.

gr gr grand Thomas Hunter m. Lucindia Montgomery
gr grand Artemus Shelby Hunter,Ky, m. Margaret Rebecca McGregor Kansas, march 11 1873

I would like to find out where the Hunter's originated from. Who Thomas and Lucindia's parents were, did they have other children besides Artemus Shelby Hunter.
I found Artemus listed on a census living with John & Julia McGregor and he later married their daughter.

The spelling of these names are the same as was printed in my Aunts Bible.
