Gathering information about Florence Durham Padget. Florence is my great grandmother, b. 31 May 1866,(place of birth unknown) d.12 March 1912 in Ridge Spring SC. Buried there next to husband Marion M. Padget. They were married in 1888.
Would like to find her parents names and where they came from, if she had and brothers and sisters. Florence had five children, one who was my grandfather, Raymond Durham Padgett, b. 1 August 1890. Florence also lived in Monetta SC, perhaps before her marriage. Any one recognize Florence? I have so little information about her.

I knew Raymond D. Padgett well, I have fond memories he and his wife, they were my great grand parents, and I loved them very much.

The mother and father of Florence Josephine Durham Padgett (b. 1866 Edgefield County, SC) were Jesse Wilson Durham (f. John, m. Sarah Wines, married 15 March 1831 in Barren, KY - Sarah later married Young Davidson 26 May 1852 in Barren, KY) and Mary Stephens (f. William of Kings County, Ireland; m. Nancy Reynolds of Ridge Springs, SC). They had nine children: Florence (m. Marion Padgett), William K., Clarence Sullivan (m. Nina Faulk), Milford Wilton, Charles Wilson, Jesse Laden, Elmer Garod, Irene (m. Alva Murdoch) and Harry W..
I am trying to prove the parents of Sarah Wines and John Durham.
