Thank you for the information. William S. was the only thing we had until one of his childrens death certificates came to light and listed fathers name as Samuel, informant was his grandson of his second wife, Eliza Griffin. I do have some of the information on Malinda Batts and 4 of the children. Have just started digging deeper in that direction.
