Having loads of trouble finding info on this gentleman. What we know...B.17/5/1815 D. 11/1/1854 in Australia. Married Catherine Alexander 4/3/1839. Parents-John Campbell & Eleanor Bourke. Brother John Keating Campbell.May have spent time in India and China. May have been born in Ireland or have an Irish connection. He was a mariner and was the captain of a paddle steamer "The Experiment" which travelled between Brisbane and Ipswich. Have a photo of him taken from newspaper article about Queensland pioneers.Would love to confirm all info and add more!!n
