Guiseppe Cattarinich

Posted by Russell Barnes <rus3466@yahoo.com> on Tue, 03 Mar 2009, in response to Guiseppe Catharinich, posted by Paul Doré on Wed, 04 Feb 2009

Paul:
I am not sure this is the same person, but in Lussinpiccolo, there was a shipbuilder named Guiseppe Cattarinich. He was apparently operating a shipyard in Lussinpiccolo from at least the mid 1840s. I have found records of at least 4 large ships built by the Cattarinich shipyard.

The bark Dante, 1877 of 535 tons, the brig Plod, 1861 of 414 tons, the bark Euro, 1875 of 704 tons, and the bark Vodja, 1870 of 427 tons.
