Casavantes Family information

Dear Mr. Mariscal:

In response to your request on contacting any member of the Casavantes family from Basuchil, Chihuahua, I am answering your email to give the next basic information to you:

I am Guillermo Casavantes Valencia, son of Guillermo Casavantes Gonzalez, son of Reinaldo Casavantes Marquez, son of Rafael Casavantes Mendivil, son of... (I don't have in mind the rest of the history, sorry)

Although you apparently have Basuchil, Chihuahua as the place where information about the Casavantes family can be obtained, it is really Ciudad Guerrero, Chihuahua the main reference place.

I have lived in Mexico City since 1965, but I visit Cd. Guerrero almost every year since one of my brothers and a sister still live there. Here in Mexico City I have a married son, Guillermo Casavantes Gonzalez (same last names as my father) who already has a three year descendent, Daniela Casavantes Villarreal.

In 1999 there was a Casavantes Family Meeting in Ciudad Guerrero, that counted with Casavantes visitors from the states of Durango, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Baja California and Distrito Federal, and at least from Texas, Arizona, and California from de USA.

In this meeting it was distributed an extract of the work "Los Patriarcas del Papigochi" written by Dr. Encarnacion Brondo Whitt some 50 years ago, in which valuable information related to the Casavantes family can be found.

Please let me know if you get this message, as well as the place you live in, and your ordinary mailing address in order to interchange some information and send you a copy of that chapter of the Dr. Brondo Whitt book, related with the
Casavantes family.
