Martinolich

Posted by Marina, Nicolich, Tomasini <MareBlue42@aol.com> on Sun, 05 Mar 2006, in response to Cattarinich shipbuilders and sailors, posted by Russell Barnes on Wed, 08 Jun 2005

I am from Lussinpiccolo.
Our history shows that we not only made good boats but also good captains.
There is a Comunity of the islanders (lussignani)in Italy that send a magazine to all the islanders and it is called: Lussino.
Not long ago, they have sent me a book about the Centenial of the Nautical Institute of Lussinpiccolo. There is so much to read and there are so much datas about the boats, captanins, etc.
Unfortunately, there are no more copies of this book, as is was written on one issue of this magazine when a person requested a copy.
Maybe if you write to this magazine, they might be able to help you with your request about the Martinolichs. Here is the address: Comunita di Lussinpiccolo, Via Denza, Trieste, 534124.
You can write in english. There will be someone to translate.
Gook luck.
Marina.
