Our grandmother Gladys M. Ure was adopted by James and Margaret Ure when she was 3 years old her mother Julia Moore Lockwood died on 1887. Gladys' father William Lockwood was commercial traveler. He passed away before Julia Lockwood. Gladys M. Lockwood was her birth name. Margaret and Gladys Ure came to New York city, NY during 1904. Gladys married to Geoffrey De Chatteau and she died 1929 in Bronx, NY. Buried in Mt. HOpe cemetery in Westchester, NY
