my mom and dad we together for a while...i dont know exactly how long..mom never really liked talking about it. i was told that when i was months old i saw my dad but then my mother left him and moved to california(we were in arizona). i personaly never heard from my dad after that...untill about 2 years ago...i was going through an old trunk with my mom and i found a picture and card that my dad had sent me on my birthday(i of course never saw either one of the items because my mom took them)the address had some thing do with Portland Oregon. In the card he wrote something of the sort about being or about to get married. i dont anylonger have the card with the address or the picture with me...my mother has them.

There are a lot of Gibson descendants in GA, particularly Houston County. Some are related to me by marriage as far back as the early 1900s. Do you have any other information on him? There is a book published, "Slave Descendants of Houston County," written by my cousin and there is an entire family tree of Gibson's right up the children born in the last 10 years or so.

I would like to know who my father was and his name is Trent Brown and i would like to know where he is and and what he is doing.
