I want to see my father.

I'm 17 years old and I've never seen my father. All I know is that his name is John Smith and he is from Hempstead, N.Y. He dated a girl named A. Gordon, and she became pregnant and had me on September 10, 1985 at the age of 16. He snuck into a bar and someone slipped something into his drink. Supposedly he drank it and it gave him some mental problems, and he was put into a mental institution. I want to know if he is alive and how he is doing. I would really like to see him too if it is possible. I'm graduating this year and I would love to see him before I go off to college. If you know him or even think you may know of him, please email me. thanx.
