While I think of myself as 'white' definitely had slave-owning ancestors, I am among countless millions of 'whites' who *also* had African(-American) ancestors whom I have not yet been able to document. Not to mention the African ancestors that every one of us has who were the seed of several waves of migrations to Europe, Asia and Oceania, tens and a hundred or so thousands of years ago. We are all kin.
